Time out as a team away from the workplace is becoming increasingly popular, not only with large corporations but small businesses too. Couple this with supporting a charity your company feels strongly about and you are bound to see an improvement not only with staff morale but with helping to communicate externally your brand message. Check out our blog about appreciation in the workplace for more ideas.

We had a great time on a corporate away day at Whirlow Hall Farm last month.  The trust was set up to help inner city children and those from challenging backgrounds with an environment to learn and grow.

The team was blown away by the invaluable work they do to help children across the region, and enjoyed having a farm tour of all the animals – especially the piglets! As well as having some quality time as a team out of the office, we all got to learn a new skill too – dry stone walling!

If you are in the South Yorkshire area and thinking of what to do for your next corporate away day, we would recommend Whirlow Hall Farm.

We were also delighted to sponsor the Corporate Partnership Award at the first ever Children’s Hospital Charity Awards in June. The Royal Bank of Scotland Business team won the award due to their incredible support over the last 6 years for the charity’s ‘Make It Better Appeal’.
